Jennifer Helling is a Kansas artist that was born in Lyons, KS and has come through the local Salina schools. She earned her degree in Language Arts from Kansas Wesleyan University in 1982. After teaching in western Kansas and eastern Colorado, she returned to Salina and married Bob in 1987. Since then she has worked in 3 Dimensional Art and textiles that focus on animal rights. She has had several one-person exhibits including a month-long exhibit at Kansas Wesleyan University. Presently she weaves, spins, and makes handmade jewelry for ArtXpressions.
