Marilla Colson was raised in Hutchinson, KS and has recently relocated to Salina. She has been painting and drawing for over 18 years. Marilla has received instruction under Mace John and Carolyn Loutzenhiser. She received her Studio Art degree from Principa College, Elsah, IL in 1998 and a second degree in Art Education from Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS in 2004. Marilla currently holds an art teaching certificate and substitutes for USD 305 in Salina.lor of Fine Arts degree from Kansas State University in 1981 with an emphasis in Ceramics and has been a Professional Potter since 1982.
